Pigeontracks: Notes from around the Blogosphere

Happy Easter!  The Hummingbird, minions and I spent the day in Spearfish, SD, a fantastic little town 45 minutes or so west of us.  We took the scenic route, as well: cutting through the casino town of Deadwood, we took the Spearfish Canyon drive so the Hummingbird could get her mountain, pine tree, and stream fix.  We also had lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, The Bay Leaf Cafe; and it being Easter, everyone was in their best Sunday feathers.

That is, except us.  I haven't shaved in a week, and since we planned to take the minions to the mondo playground at the Spearfish park we were attired in decidedly downscale fashion (shorts, tees, sandals, etc).  It didn't help I ordered a glass of wine with my prime rib (pinky out and all), which really put a disturbance in the force. If someone had made fun of my attire, I'd of quipped, "if people are gambling in Deadwood in Easter, than I can eat my lunch wearing shorts on Easter."

But enough about me--here are some gems I found in a stroll through the blogosphere:

From my Position... On the Way! has a great post on Easter.  I mean, Ishtar.

Nice Easter-inspired photo at Gut Rumbles (heh...)

Operation Perish Hilton updates at Andi's World and Michelle Malkin

Interesting article on Comedy Central's Mohammad debacle at PoliPundit

Dude!  Check out the pigeon on the left at Pigeon Blog.  That guy looks serious...

Professor Bainbridge asks. "should Moussaoui die?"   The issue is more complex than meets the eye...

can't hold on, eyelids getting heavy, too much Easter ham.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Of course Moussaoui should die. He knew about the attacks, he knew the day and the method. He could have saved thousands of people but he chose to be Bin Laden's very own WMD. He is just as culpable as the morons who flew the planes. By the way, when he dies, I highly doubt he will find virgins waiting in Heaven, more likely, he will find demons in Hell because that is what he deserves.

Thank you for your support of "Operation Perish Hilton!" We have just a couple days left for Hilton to do the honorable thing here, so I'm asking everyone to please re-double your efforts.....
